Matt Guttman was recommended to me by a professional I trust.  I also heard him speak and answer questions at my accountant’s firm when he gave a seminar about “What to include in your will.”  He is knowledgeable and responsive.  My husband and I chose to work with him five years ago to develop our estate plan (including wills and healthcare plans).  Due to changes in our family, we updated our documents recently. Matt and his staff were friendly and efficient in helping us through that process.  I recommend him highly.

Most thorough job

Jamie and her team did the most thorough job helping my wife and I with our Estate Plan. As you might expect, they identified ways to help us protect ourselves in scenarios we didn't even consider. We got great instruction on how to keep the documents and how to execute and fund parts of our plan. Kind, smart and knowledgeable

We wanted to update our will and put our assets in a trust. We reached out but were ignored by a couple other agencies. I heard great comments about the Guttman Firm through friends and on WCCO radio. Jamie took the time to squeeze us into a last minute zoom call. Right from the start I knew this was someone I wanted and would trust to help us. She explained everything in terms we could understand. She was very kind, smart and knowledgeable. By the end of the call I was a Guttman client. We met several days later at the office and Jamie and her staff spent two hours going over our new trust, will, power of attorney and health directive etc. We also own property in Fl. Jamie reached out to a cohort there and made sure all our documents were in order and correct. Throughout this short period, Jamie was reaching out asking us pertinent questions. She was very through! I left the Guttman office afterwards feeling a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders. Our estate is now in order and that is a great feeling. Thank you so much Jamie!!

Extremely helpful

My husband and I worked with Guttman Law to get a Trust and POA docs in place for our college children just in case! Everyone was extremely helpful in explaining things to me - I’m a little financially illiterate - so I had several questions. They took the time to explain things in such a way that I could understand and were patient with me as I learned the terminology. We walked away with an amazing plan so my children will be taken care of when the day comes that my hubby and I can no longer take care of ourselves or them. Thank you for everything!
